Beauty Tips: How To Create The Perfect Summery Smokey Eye Look

You will have noticed that everyone from Zendaya to Margot Robbie have been rocking the summery smokey eye look this year. The question on everyone else’s lips is, is it easy to recreate this gorgeous trend, and can we get away with being so bold? The answer to both of these questions, of course, is YES! Follow these simple steps and you’ll have a simple summer look which rivals a sunset in the Bahamas… or in our case, Southend-on-Sea!

 

 

Step 1

Using our Step 1 brush from the Smokey Eye Make-up Brush Set pack the lightest of the three shades you’ve chosen onto your brush – in our case, copper!

 

Step 2

Starting from the eye duct sweep your chosen colour across your lids.

 

Step 3

Using our Step 2 brush pack the darkest of the three shades you’ve chosen onto your brush - in our case, fuchsia!

 

Step 4

Starting from the crease of your eye work your chosen colour across a third of your lids and into the crease.

 

Step 5

Using our Step 3 brush from the Smokey Eye Make-up Brush Set pack the middle colour of the three shades you’ve chosen onto your brush, and blend, blend, blend!

 

Step 6

Curl your lashes for extra lift and volume. Top tip: Use our Eyelash Curlers and heat them slightly with a hairdryer for a maximum impact curl that lasts!

 

Step 7

Pack on your some mascara to really open those peepers!

 

Step 8

Add your favourite summery shade of lipstick… et voilà!
