3 Ways to use our beauty Blending Sponges!

3 Ways to use our beauty Blending Sponges!
Blending Sponges come in all shapes, colours and sizes but most women don’t realise how versatile and easy to use they really are! Our Blending Sponges are infused with Vitamin E or Collagen and come in up to four different shapes, specially designed to reach different contours of your face for non-streaky, accurate application.

To apply and set a flawless base - Our Blending Sponges are perfect for creating a smooth make-up base to apply the rest of your make-up onto, whether you’re a fully qualified MUA or a make-up novice these Sponges are super easy to use:

  • Run the blending sponge under cold water.
  • Squeeze continuously until the sponge grows in size.
  • Squeeze out any excess water and gently dry with a towel.
  • Blend make-up using a dabbing motion, this prevents stroke marks and gives a flawless finish.

Most women know that Blending Sponges are great for applying liquid make-up but did you also know that they are great for setting concealer as well? Concealer is great for hiding heavy under eye circles but it can also crease under your eyes making your make-up look heavy and thick. Instead of loading a bunch of powder onto a make-up brush which can waste product and also not effectively target the desired area use your Blending Sponge to avoid creasing:

  • Dampen your Blending Sponge.
  • Dip your Blending Sponge lightly in your setting powder – less is more!
  • Apply the powder directly over your concealer to set it by gently dabbing the area.

For highlighting and contouring - After you’ve applied your base you may want to add a little shimmer and shine here and there to accentuate your check bones and give your face more definition. Using Blending Sponges to apply liquid highlighter, blusher and contour is super easy:

  • Simply apply your contour or highlighter using a light, sweeping motion.

To apply skincare products – Many women apply their serums, cleansers, eye creams and moisturisers using their fingers. This can be detrimental to your cleansing skin care routine because you’re adding the oils and bacteria from your fingers to your skin at the same time. Blending Sponges ensure that you aren’t adding additional grease to your skin:

  • Run the blending sponge under cold water.
  • Squeeze continuously until the sponge grows in size.
  • Squeeze out any excess water and gently dry with a towel.
  • Apply your serums, etc. using a dabbing motion.
  • Rinse your face and gently towel dry.

Added Beauty Tip:
To keep your Blending Sponge in tip-top condition, it’s important you wash it regularly. This will also help you avoid breakouts because dirty Blending Sponges carry bacteria and other oils, which clog your pores and can, lead to pimples and other blemishes:

  • Run the blending sponge under warm water and rub gently with a mild cleanser.
  • Squeeze until the suds have all gone.
  • Leave to air-dry.
